It's more than a meal...

Mealtime is more enjoyable when you are with friends! The Senior Meal Program serves hot, healthy meals and gives seniors opportunities to socialize and take part in activities like cards, and exercise. You can also learn about other services that are available.

Call 575-894-6641 the day before to let us know you are coming for dinner.

Who is eligible for meals?

Persons aged 60 or older and their spouses of any age

Persons under age 60 with disabilities who reside in housing facilities occupied primarily by the elderly where congregate meals are served.(Hacienda)

Persons with disabilities who reside at home with, and accompany older persons to meals and nutrition service volunteers.

Services must be targeted at persons with the greatest social and economic need, with particular attention to low income minority older persons and older persons residing in rural areas. Means tests for program participation are prohibited, but older persons are encouraged to contribute towards the costs of meals.

No one is denied services for failure to contribute.
Everyone must be registered before eating.

Monday - Friday home delivery of lunch available in T or C, Williamsburg, and Elephant Butte.

Frozen Meals delivered weekly to Animas, Arrey, Caballo, Derry, Garfield, Hillsboro and Las Palomas.
